Portal^® Miticide/Insecticide is a contact miticide/insecticide that belongs to the METI (Mitochondrial Electron Transport Inhibitor) class of compounds which blocks cellular respiration. Portal stops feeding damage and oviposition within hours of application, and mites die in three to seven days. Portal provides control on many species of mites as well as Asian citrus psyllid, mealybugs, pear psylla, and white apple leafhopper. Portal is practically nontoxic to bees.
