Community Outreach

Nichino America (NAI) has a Corporate Giving Committee to develop a culture of volunteerism within the company and our communities in which we live, work and support.  Our primary goal is to support the charities that NAI members support.  The committee requests that NAI members volunteer time or make a monetary donation in which the committee will match.  At the beginning of each fiscal quarter, we send out a newsletter that provides personal stories about the NAI members supported charities.

The committee does request that the charity match certain criteria in which we base our funding decisions.  We encourage the NAI member to be involved with the charity or event through volunteerism.  The committee only donates to U.S. non-profit organizations eligible for support under federal IRS code.   The committee does not make donations for customer support, to organizations that discriminate against age, race, color, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, ancestry, marital status, or veteran status, to organizations or programs designed to influence legislation or elect candidates to public office, to religious organizations, for personal profit, Fraternal or veterans organizations, or to a general building or endowment fund.

The Corporate Giving Committee seeks to encourage and support volunteerism throughout the Nichino America organization and our members’ efforts are commendable!
